Join us for an evening with Jackson Nexhip, a local game designer who has built a career spanning development, streaming and teaching. He'll walk us through his path and what the day-to-day of being a game developer actually looks like.
We will also hear from a special guest about game development study options and where industry roles are growing, so you leave with concrete next steps, not just inspiration.
A highlight of the evening will be a showcase of games created by local young people offering live demos you can actually play. This group of young people have been participating in weekly game development workshops with Jackson at Gamers Resort - Shepparton's home for gaming culture in every form, from digital to tabletop, and everything in between.

About Jackson Nexhip
Jackson is a Shepparton-based independent Australian Unreal Engine game developer who began making games in 2018 after leaving his career in chemistry. He specializes in artificial intelligence, procedural world generation, and multiplayer. He also runs a YouTube channel where he teaches how to use Unreal Engine. When he's not developing, you are likely to find him at the skatepark or doing martial arts. His favourite games are Breath of the Wild, Minecraft, NieR Automata, and Celeste.
