Shepparton is set for a colourful blast of home-grown African gospel music this January.
Featuring a mix of local musicians with players and singers from Sydney, Melbourne and Sudan, the concert will present a full electric band together with a big rhythm section including conga drums to deliver the powerful beat of Africa.
The night is about sharing cultures and bringing people together through music and dance.
"There is only one international language - dancing. It's the only language we have in common. So let us dance together" said Mr Manesi Baba, Sydney based singer who will be performing on the night.
Other performers appearing in the concert will be Melody Furaha from Brisbane, Alnour Agog from Sudan, Melbourne's El Shadai Band and Martin Kandar, and Shepparton's Pappi Mukasa and Michelle and Ryan Black.
