FAQ'S

Purchasing tickets

Ticketing for 2020 is sold per household (not per person), so no need to buy tickets for mum, dad, little Jack and Jill if you’re all watching at home together.

If you’re purchasing for cousins, aunts or uncles to watch at their place in Queensland or down the road, they will need to purchase with a separate email address, so they too can receive their unique link.

When can I buy tickets

Tickets will go on sale from 10am Tuesday 15 December – and will close at 6.00pm Saturday 19 December. You have all week to book to receive the link, but we recommend not leaving it to the last minute (we don’t want you to miss out).

How can I buy tickets?

Due to the current COVID restrictions, the Box Office is closed for in person bookings. But you can book online 24/7 through this website listing. Or you can call the box office on 5832 9511 and speak to one of the lovely staff. We warn you, we’ve had them working from home for the last 9 months, so they might be on for a chat and it may take a little longer than usual. If you’re waiting on the phone for a Box Office representative, you can press 1 and leave a message and they will call you back, or you can call back during Box Office hours any time during the week, you don’t have to hold on the line Tuesday morning.

What time can I call the Box Office?

If you want to deal with a real person (rather than the internet), the Box Office team are available Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm. If they’re on another call or unavailable, please press 1 and leave a message including your phone number and they will call you back.

Will the link to the premiere stream be accessible on the Riverlinks website?

No, the link will only be sent to those who have purchased access for their household.

How and when will I get the link?

Providing you have booked before sales close at 6pm Saturday 19 December, you will receive your link from 6.15pm Saturday evening.

You will receive your unique link by email. Check the inbox that you used to book tickets.

I haven’t received the link?

Links will be sent out from 6.15pm Saturday 19 December. You won’t find it before then.

Make sure you’re in the right inbox (these days we all have a few).

Check your junk emails, occasionally you will find them there.

I’ve got the link, but it’s not working yet?

The premiere will not start until 7pm Saturday 19 December, prior to that, it will not play. Be patient, grab yourself a drink, go to the bathroom, then get comfortable.

It’s 7pm Saturday night and the link isn’t working?

Breathe and keep calm (and don’t call Aliesha). Check the technical details below. If that all seems ok, close the browser and reopen it (or try restarting the computer, tablet or phone). If all else fails and it’s not working, it’s ok you have 24 hours to watch it (so you won’t miss a thing). If need be, call 5832 9511 on the night, and they may be able to provide some advice.

Can I test everything is working in advance?

Sure why not, always best to be prepared. Visit http://riverlinksvenues.com.au/whats-on/live and test out your set up with one of the RiverLinked Live performances, or a Couch Concert. That way you can test everything out and have peace of mind.

How can I watch? (all the technical info)

You can watch on your phone, tablet, laptop, pc or your tv (if you have one of those smart ones and you know how to use it)

Your private link will play through a web browser, Vimeo supports Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

I’m having difficulties, what do it do?

You’re in good hands - if you have purchased access to the link, you will be able to access it for 24 hours, so if for some reason you’re having technical difficulties getting it running at home, you’ve got time to watch it back.

The broadcast team have been streaming concerts and events throughout the year, if for some reason there is a glitch (the internet world is unpredictable), they will promptly have it back up and running. Simply refresh your browser, and be patient.

When can we get back to the theatre?

We’re gradually seeing restrictions ease, and we look forward to welcoming you back into our theatre’s in 2021. Keep an eye on the Riverlinks facebook page and website for details of when performances are released for sale.
