The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra returns to Shepparton to perform an evening of magnificent works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Haydn, conducted by Brett Kelly and featuring solos by MSO Associate Concertmaster Sophie Rowell and Viola Christopher Cartlidge.
Muse in the magic of Mendelssohn’s silvery overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream, witness the joyful spirit of Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante and conclude your orchestral experience with Haydn’s dazzling ‘London’ symphony.
The MSO will also be presenting a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm. The talk is approximately 30 minutes in duration. Those attending the evening performance at 7.30pm are welcome to attend (no RSVP required).
