Riverlinks Eastbank set to showcase local art

Riverlinks and Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) are excited to announce that community art exhibitions will be re-introduced at the Eastbank Centre later this year. These foyer exhibitions are a joint initiative between Riverlinks Venues and Shepparton Art Museum.

Riverlinks Eastbank attracts around 75,000 attendees each year to a wide variety of functions and performing arts events. The exhibitions will be located in the downstairs foyer of the Centre, and will be open to individual artists as well as community groups.

Our aim is to support local artists and to provide them with a public space to display their work. We also want to make the foyer more attractive and bring people into the venue to enjoy the exhibitions on display.

Exhibitions will need to consist of artworks that can be hung on foyer walls; sculptures or other 3D work will not be suitable as there is limited space for plinths. Exhibitions will remain on display for six weeks.
