This event is about bringing professional knowledge to amateurs to help prepare for their own goals.
MyoCycle App presents "How to Prepare Like a Pro” An Evening with Steve Moneghetti – Australian Long Distance Runner & Benjamin Day – Professional Road Cycling Coach
Featuring the film “Fairless” a tribute based on our local hero Steve Fairless as featured at the 2015 Melbourne International Film Festival
A Mini Expo will also be presented and is designed to showcase local businesses who can equip you with products and knowledge to help you “Prepare Like a Pro.”
The evening will conclude with a Q&A panel which will include Benjamin Day – Professional Road Cycling Coach, Mitch Docker - Orica GreenEDGE Cyclist and Jeremy Hunt - Retired Professional Cyclist currently working with Day by Day Coaching.
Steve Moneghetti
Australia’s most recognized long distance runner.
In 1994 Steve won the Tokyo Marathon and the Marathon at the Commonwealth Games. Steve came 3rd in the 1997 World Championships Marathon Race. Steve has also competed in the Marathon at 4 Olympic Games; 2000 in Sydney, 1996 in Atlanta, 1992 in Barcelona and 1988 in Seoul. Steve’s best performance in the Olympics was 5th place at Seoul in 1988.
Benjamin Day
Benjamin was a professional cyclist for 13 years in Europe and the US. Benjamin won the silver at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, was the National ITT Champ and is a 5 x National team representative.
Benjamin established Day by Day Coaching in 2008 to impart the wealth of knowledge learnt through personal experience and education from many reputable high performance scientists and coaches.
The Day by day company has grown to include amateur and professional athletes, both cycling and triathlon, racing the biggest races in the world.
